The original social-professional-network, JakeTM was born to act as a bridge between gay men and their guests seeking likeminded contacts. We’ve hosted hundreds of events for tens of thousands of people in some of the world’s most exclusive and unique locations. When we launched Jake 10 years ago, we sensed that there was room in the world for a place where gay people could express a lifestyle choice without a focus on nudity and sex. As one of the first online networks, we used bespoke technology to launch a brand of “professional lifestyle networking” which you’ll feel and understand at our gatherings. Our members include some of the world’s most successful businessmen, engineers, authors, designers, actors, lawyers, teachers and politicians. We don’t restrict the definition of ‘professional’ to these or any industries; we just ask that the spirit of lifestyle networking be enjoyed socially, openly and credibly. We work hard, we play hard (excuse the cliché!).  Bring your style to ours.

To take part, simply bookmark this site and visit our Fan Page (updated in 2011 so we’re starting fresh with full-on Facebook technology instead of clunky bespoke systems). Follow our Tweets and come to an event. You may pay a modest entry fee if you like before purchasing a Jake Card for the rest of the season. Although the network has featured heavily in the press through the years, our events are discrete and it’s up to you how involved you become on the Fan Page. We believe that it’s fine to openly “Like” Jake in 2011.
